Anyone else having problems? Know my system got a WU this morning around 0700 PST, but not getting anything now. Don't see anything on the main F@H website. Here's what I'm seeing.

[21:54:49] + Attempting to get work packet
[21:54:49] Passkey found
[21:54:49] - Connecting to assignment server
[21:55:10] - Couldn't send HTTP request to server
[21:55:10] + Could not connect to Assignment Server
[21:55:10] - Successful: assigned to (130.237.232.141).
[21:55:10] + News From Folding@Home: Welcome to Folding@Home
[21:55:10] Loaded queue successfully.
[21:55:16] - Attempt #8 to get work failed, and no other work to do.
Waiting before retry.

The issue with connecting to the HTTP server is normal; only works with the IP. :p

Found a better status page that I didn't know about before, guess the server is 'full'; as are pretty much all the SMP servers. Wonder what's up with that?

I think it's been happening to alot of people. Someone from the team is folding under my name and my PPD dropped quite a bit then I got a 90K update.

Kind of sucks since I have a feeling my time of having this machine all to myself is numbered and wanted to try a few more bigadv units before it was too late. :p Guess I'll just have to be patient.

That being said, is there a way to tell the client to try and connect to a different server IP? It has always been connecting to 130.237.232.141 and has done so automatically.

You should still get the credit as when it reports it will report that you did that WU. As for the second part, I don't know if it's possible since I have never had to attempt to do it.

Yes, credit was given (afaik) for the last job. Just been waiting for four hours now to be assigned a new one since the bloody server seems to be too over loaded to give me a new project!

*edit*

Finally, five hours after turning in the last job it finally got through and received a 6900. Going from 1m10s per % on a "regular smp" unit to 13m30s per % is a bit of a change though!
