F@H video from Jan 8th

Just watched the whole thing; there's some very interesting stuff in there. It seems that they're a lot closer to practical applications than they've been letting on. The Storage@Home idea sounds interesting as well, but in practice I personally doubt that it will work too well, considering that it's a significantly more volatile endeavour than running F@H (since there's still a chance that every computer containing a specific chunk of data will cease being available, causing that data to be permanently lost).
 
I watched this video a few days ago ....

Lots of good information about Folding@Home and what research is going on ....

I spoke to Vijay a few days ago and he is thinking about writing up a "laymens" version of some of the material so more members of the community can begin to understand what each project is running and how it all fits into the larger projects and research

I know some goes way over my head since I don't have any PhDs ....but it is good info none the less

That's good to hear. I hope the written material will be easier to understand to help up get a good perspective of the whole project and what it try to accomplish.
