Try the simple fix first.

Delete the folding .exe file
Delete any and all core files.
Delete the log file with ‘pre” in the name.

Replace the folding .exe file with a fresh copy.

Restart the program and let it run. Sometimes those files can experience corruption for some reason, I’ve had it happen and this was the fix.

Luck

I doubt lithium726 needs to delete anything, but he does need to do a better job of explaining what's happening so people can give a proper answer.

First it's always helpful if we know which OS is being used, which client, Console or GUI, and finally which version of the client.

It's also helpful to know whether he has a broadband connection or dialup modem. If Dialup, is the client configured properly to connect to the internet by itself to upload the finished WU and get a new one?

If your using the GUI client you didn't accidentally put a checkmark after "Pause when done" in the popup menu when you right click on the F@H icon in the system tray did you?

If your using the Console client, you didn't accidentally leave the -oneunit flag in the shortcut that starts the client did you?

There have been a lot of server issues lately, so maybe all that's happening is his client is having trouble connecting to a server that is down.

If he posted his log we could probably help him better, but as it is we would have to be psychic to figure out the problem with the little info he provided.

I don't see anything in the log you posted that indicates your having any issues. Each time a WU finished it was sent back and a new WU was received without the client taking any extra time or stopping. Maybe when you get a log showing the problem you could post it.

Did you try what I suggested? Won't change a thing except download a new core. I've had this happen a number of times and the simple fix worked. Honest
