I am having some trouble with my interent provider can I download a bunch of work units to do until I can get my problems resolved!!

I have downloaded multiple consoles into different directories and run them one after the other.

If it's a fast computer you can do the same with timed units as long as you can make the deadlines. If you anticipate the problem to be a few days, I would download 2-3 and see where it gets ou.

Do I need a seperate program like Seti uses or does teh F@H console have a command to do it?

I know that you can run four instances of the console version at once, with one cpu. You have to use the correct flag, which is -local. Some of the guys talk about doing this when they know there is a planned server outage. It takes 4 times longer to complete each WU, but at least there is no delay due server outage (or any other outage for that matter).

I have no idea how this works with those timeless WU's, as I have never tried to get any of those.

Ciao for now ......

I have one case where I do this and I just have two seperate folders (console version) and I run one at a time. No extra software. For safety, I change the machineID in the configuration (this way if both folders are running at the same time they don't conflict).
