I just started using overclockix and I got the folding client working, however I don't know to save the work unit data. I have a hard drive and a usb flash drive. The hard drive isn't big enough to install overclockix on it. But I did create a persistent home drive on it. So how do I tell the folding client to save it's work on the home drive and not the ramdisk?

Once you've created a persistent home, it should rsync the stuff from the ramdrive to the persistent home autoamtically.

The boot code is-

home=scan (but this is set as a default option when booting from CD)

You can run the command-

viewfold

to see the tail end of the FAHlog.txt file and know what frame you're on. Then sometime when you're at the beginning of a WU (and maybe even a project you don't much like), just reboot and test to see if it picked up where it left off by running viewfold again.

Odds are if you can change the background screen and have that change persistent across a reboot, then your folding directory will also persisten across a reboot. Bottom line- it should just work. If it doesn't, PM me or post on my forum and I can give you some other options.
