F@H GPU Quits out instantly.

Well Ive been using F@H for my x1950pro ever since I got the card with only mild problems, I recently got a dual core cpu, and using cpu+gpu client has been working great, but now I cant get my gpu client to open, it always instantly quits.

The only time that I can see this happening is if im using remote desktop or it doesn't see the gpu, but all my other games work fine.

I didn't even reboot the last time in between folding sessions and now it doesn't work. The last time they made you update your client they did the same thing, but their is no new client on their site (Except for cpu beta 6, which works fine). I also reinstalled Cat 7.9 drivers, and newest DX9 redist, and deleted my work and got a new client, still nothing.

Wtf man.

You need to update your client as the old one has expiried.

From the folding forums.

Just use the new "GPU GUI client" in the same folder as your old "GPU console client".

Your work unit won't be lost!

Actually, all beta clients expired yesterday or today so you have to get a new one even if you see the same version number.

Did you try the "GPU client GUI version 5.91 beta 6" client ?
Thats the latest client.
Not sure if the "GPU client console version 5.91 beta 5" client has been upgraded.
Hence earlier post.

I should of also mentioned i use the CLI client. Their is a beta 6 GUI client, but still beta5 CLI, which is what I had before it would insta close, and thats the latest version the web site.

Maybe it was set to expire (oct 1st) and they didn't change or do anything about it.

They released the v6 clients with the new date. I don't think they will update the older v5 clients since it's pointless now.

"Our apologies for the gap in coverage; the GPU development team should have a new version available within the next day.

As noted above, there's a GPU GUI client available in the meantime."

Unless your running twin vid cards then the GUI version will tide you over for a couple of days.
