Seriously thought it would be freaky but wtf screwy images that pop up whenever! Gah! So not my cup of tea. This would be a lot more fun coop

Okay... why don't you keep playing the game? I mean, I haven't met anyone yet who hasn't liked it. Did you quit Doom 3 20 minutes into the game too?

Did I say I didn't like it? It's just freaky

I quit doom3 after about 20 minutes :). But completed both Fear/Extraction point as i thought they were both excellent games.

The dead body that falls out in front of you in one of the first few chapters (I can't remember what the game calls them, now...) made me yelp out loud.

I liked Extraction Point alot more than i did the original FEAR. It was freakier and you jumped right into the action. But both are really great games.

And then you have the ladder scene. Man, that was some good gaming.

:D

Thats some good old fashioned pants filling gaming right there

The ladder part in extraction point was probably the worst part in both games :|

I liked the fact that, A you could kick / hit the doors open, B the graphics were slightly improved, and C the action was more hardcore.

They should just patch the new features into the old game, would make it kick more ass.

Its called F.E.A.R for a reason,

First Encounter Assault Recon ;) .

I wonder if STALKER gets any better than where I'm at now? So far it's been "yawn"...

:(

STALKER got quite scary for me, you end up in some dark tight places with all sorts of nasties stalking you as you fast run out of ammo, thats quite far into the game though.

F.E.A.R. was ok, the action and graphics I thought were awesome. It just gets very boring and repetitive. I just can't believe the developers had this mindset though.

Ok level one Office Building, what should we do for level two?

Er ... Office Building?

AWESOME! How about level 3?

Hmm.. Office Building?

Sweeet, that's awesome way to think outside the box, now how about level 4?

Twiddles thumbs,.. Office Building?

Dude you are the man!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like that idea, glad to see your using your head, now to finish the game what about level 5, 6 and 7, come on now lets keep that creativity moving..

Got it, this will be sweet how about...... Office Building?

YES, YES THAT'S IT!

/sarcasm.

what makes the game good for me was getting an x-fi card with suround sound playing at night and blasting the voulme up that shit was scary.

FEAR and Doom3 = 20 mins before uninstalling with imminent nervous system failure... then I played through Quake 4 no problem :\

I'm *this* close to beating Doom 3 (at least I think I'm close ;) ). I'm in the mining area and I'm supposed to activate the huge lift. Ran around for 20 minutes trying to figure out what to do before I quit. Probably missing something incredibly obvious. :D

Fair enough. :) I'll give it a little while.

Doom3 wasnt scary, but it had its moments near the start....after a short time, it was just jump scares from stuff surprising you.
FEAR never did it for me, sure it had some creepy parts, but Asain kids only scare me for so long.

Max Payne2 had some very creepy parts...

Condemned: Criminal Origins had some creepy parts also

that game was just about the most fun I had crapping my pants. I distinctly remember finishing the game, it was mid-evening and i was still freaking out. stupid fucken girl just don't wanna die.

I just started this game, and those stupid pig muties just about sscared the shit out of me. I had to clear out one of these camps of Muties, I go into a building....nothing attacks me (flashlight is on since its dark) I turn a corner and BAM, theres a god damn pig-fucken-mutant thing, i kid you not I freaked the shit out. lmao, don't laugh at me those pigs were scary :(

Agreed, I just beat STALKER with all of the endings. Very good game.

Max Payne has to be one of the funnest games I have ever played. 1 and 2 for that matter.

doom 3 got boring for me never completed, fear was good repetitive scenery i agree made it drag some. And i just realized ive never played the fear expansion, time to go shopping!

Max payne 1 was great (top 5 for me), max payne 2 was a little off but still great.

Only time fear scared me was in the beginning when the first face flashed on screen, and when those invisi ninja guys popped up.
