All fixed thanxs for the input but next time i buiold a new pc and wanna use eyefinity i will go with a matrox triple head 2 go digital edition that company has perfected this kind of stuff not these ati and nvidia guys

Warranty?

Did you flash them with 6970 bios, 6950 shader unlock, or not at all?

Max temps hit with both cards while running furmark/kombuster?

Can they be flashed to 6970s? :p
See if it works with one card. There could be a problem with one.
If you didn't use driversweeper try it out first and remove all ATI and Nvidia drivers.

ive done full system reinstalls tryed them with factory 6950 bios and with 6970 bios there temps have never gone above 68f and tried with only 1 or the other card installed. even went as far as to try to use these cards in my sons setup and same dam thing ati ccc crashes non stop using the latest driver also

check your psu voltage? what driver are you using? I've only experienced the problem you are talking about with hydragrid, and that got solved with 11.5's

voltages are fine i can get as far as getting 3 of the same exact pictures on my monitors like there all cloned but it wont let me turn them into 1 big monitor. when i try to arrange displays it comes up and says Warning your display configuration has changed. Ensure that your displays are hooked up and working properly well i see 3 of the exact same picture ati the screens are not the issue your crap tastic way of doing this is.

So you can clone them but you cant extend to them. Try this first.

Disable cloning and extend the monitors.

Restart.

Then try to pan them across with eyefinity. (if you don't restart just try to either disable the cloning, and or disable the monitors from CCC)

Went back tp the 10.5 drivers and moved my dual lik dvi dp adapter to the monitor on the far left and it work with no issue just wanna know why ati cant make this a plug and play setting like u get using the matrox triple head to go digital edition

The problem is CCC not your cards... Try with each card by themselfs on another computer with the same version of CCC, To me it sounds like CCCis not recognizing your active adapter... as active...

idk what the issue was all i did was unhook the dp adapter and put it on a different monitor
