Hey gang,

Work was tossing out old 17 inch monitors, so I snagged 2 of them and I'm planning to try out eyefinity again.

My main monitor is a 24 inch acer at 1080p. I haven't messed with eyefinity since the 5 series cards and I was doing 1680x1050x3 back then.

Have AMD implemented the ability to run different resolution monitors as an eyefinity setup?

1280x1024 + 1920x1080 + 1280x1024.

I read that it used to scale down to the lowest resolution available, which is obviously not an ideal solution. Did they ever up the tech to let you run each monitor natively?

Short answer is No. Neither AMD or NVidia support Eyefinity/Surround with mixed resolutions.

Thanks guys.

In the end, I still have a flickering problem with displayport to vga, so I ordered a DVI adapter and I'm just going back to my original intention of using the spare screen for video streaming/web while i'm gaming.
