Eyefinity /w 2 or 3 projectors

What's the minimum resolution you guys would aim for if you were going to setup a 2x or 3x projector system for eyefinity? I'm envisioning perhaps 720p since they can be found for $499.99-$599.99 sometimes during weekly sales but 1024x768 can be found for even cheaper along the lines of $399.99. It seems like 3x1024x768 would provide if setup properly, a nice seemless, no-border/bezel approach with a resolution that wouldn't be any harder to drive than 1920x1080(pixel count wise).

It's interesting to consider the combinations though
3x1024x768 = 3x$399.99 = $1200.00 or so
2x720 = $699.99 x 2 = $1400.00 or so
or
1x1080p = $1900.00 or so.(rather expensive solution)
or
1x720p and 2x1024x768(with the larger resolution being the center monit0r) = $1300.00 or so.

Do you guys think any of these would be viable or worth-while? or would a better overall result come from getting two more Samsung Syncmaster 275T Plus monitors for roughly $800.00 or so. I'm sure PQ wise the syncmasters would be the better choice(not taking into considerable bezels or maximum possible screen size) with the 2x720p a close second for PQ while having the advantage of no bezels and larger potential size...
 
Only having 768 for the vertical resolution really blows. I think you should run some games in 1024x768 right now to see if you can deal with how cramped game menus and UI elements look. Most UIs are now designed for resolutions 1280x1024 and higher presuming people will be running 1680x1050 or 1920x1080/1200.

Also what projectors were you looking at? There are *a lot* of duds in the cheap projector market.

Also getting multiple projectors lined up can be a nightmare for a seamless display, especially if you get cheap projectors without optical lens shift.

i would say if youre going for 1024x768 projectors then yuod want to put all three on their sides for landscape, which might be difficult with some projectors, idk. otherwise you should definitely go for 1280x1024 at least. also, you cant run mixed resolutions in eyefinity, so all three projectors will have to be the same resolution unless you use softTH, which only supports a few games i think.
 
i would looking to led projectors.. 30,000 hr life on them and you maybe about to find them in 720p as well
