Ok so let me explain the current setup I have:
3 Dell 2209WA Monitors in Portrait Mode running under a Radeon 5870 in my Desktop. I also have a spare 28 inch hannsg monitor doing nothing the big one that goes on sale occasionally. I also own a Fujitsu T4310 Tablet.
So here are my questions/wants:
1. The setup I am trying to achieve I am not sure if it is possible but I think it is at least partially. I want to mount the Hannsg Screen above the 3 dells and have a KVM switch of sorts or whatever would be needed to allow me to switch between the desktop and tablet running on the 3 screens + the 4th monitor.
2. If the tablet is active I want its screen to be the image that is stretched acrossed the 3 dell monitors and have the hannsg as a separate display. If necessary the hannsg could be excluded from this mode but The very least would like to have the tablet screen stretched across the 3 dells.
3.If the Desktop is active I want it to run the 3 dell screens and the tablet able to run just on the hannsg.
4.If at all possible I would love for the tablets connection to the setup to be wireless.
5.I have been looking at the USB 2 DVI adaptors by display link and also the wireless usb video products by warpia and others. I am thinking a combination of these + a wireless usb hub could be at least close to the solution.
If this makes no sense or just isn't possible I will understand but I am very interested in solving this setup.
