Eyefinity Setup (Need a Display Port Adapter)

I have my eyefinity equipment ready to be setup, but I'm still missing a display port adapter. I preordered the Accell DP > DVI Active Single Link Adapter from amazon.com, but I don't know when it will be shipped out. Would a display port to hdmi adapter work the same as the dvi or vga adapter? Also does the DP>HDMI or VGA adapter need to be a specific type(active) or will any brand of those adapters work? Can anyone provide me with configuration suggestions? Thanks in advance!!!!

Thanks for the response vjcsmoke. I noticed that ncixus had a few, but the shipping cost is about $15 dollars for me. I purchased the DP>VGA adapter that I linked from a local computer store(hope it works). I have 14-days to return the item for a full refund. Does anyone have an idea on when Amazon might get these adapters in stock?

I'm in the same boat, ready to go but waiting on this adapter. I tried NCIX a few days ago, but after going through all the steps, it turns out they actually have them backordered .

I also contacted Amazon and didn't get anything concrete regarding availability.

I just received my preorder yesterday (September 22) and can report it works perfect. No issues.

This is a relief after struggling with two previous Dual Link adapters and changing BIOS/Drivers without any luck.

Simply plugged it in and it worked as expected.
