I feel like an idiot right now,
I bought a third monitor yesterday for 3 monitor eyefinity setup,
I have 2 x Samsung Syncmaster 245bw and 1 x Dell 2405FPW.
I've had the 2 Samsungs for about 2 years, timing between both is perfect, color calibration is perfect...
Had a friend that was selling a dell 2405FPW for 150$, perfect size, same resolution as my other 2.
never really thought about response time... untill i plugged it in....
Now i have center monitor at 12ms and sides at 8ms response time.
I'm planning on buying a third 245bw but for now, and probably the next couple months i'm keeping the dell as center monitor.
Is there any way I can setup my Samsung monitors to 12ms response time to atleast not look like a joke in eyefinity mode while playing games.

Any comment, advise would be appreciated.

You could move the slow monitor to your non dominate side in the setup. If you are righty, put the 2405 on the far left, if a lefty put it on the far right. You should, in theory, be less likely to notice the difference that way. Other wise there really is nothing I think you can do in that situation. If you notice the difference, you notice it.

Eyefinity is really not a great idea when it comes to mix and match monitor setups, if you are sensitive to small differences in contrast, brightness, color or panel lag. I was not truly happy with my eyefinity setups till I tweaked and fiddled with the monitors until I had what I thought were uniform contrast, brightness, and color levels.

I remember when the 2405 was nearly a fricken grand. I bought one back in the day, and absolutely hated it compared to flat trintitron and diamondtrons CRT's. You could still get good CRT's in 05/06.

It's not response time, cheesecake it's input lag.

The 245BW was one of the lowest lag screens and the 2405FPW is one of the highest. The Dell monitor always seems behind, right? There is nothing you can do about it via software or settings as far as I know.

Move the 2405 to the side. I have 2 2408FPWs that have input lag and have a 2407FPW in the center. Actually went to pick up 3 2408s from a guy and noticed he had a 2407 a04 and got that because it has way less input lag than the 2408 and they share the same bezel.

I thought it bothered me at first... then I got the fov and everything setup in bc2 and its fine now. Its easy to see a window lagging as you drag between the monitors in windows but its really hard to see in games or video.
