I can relate in a way, that seeing ANY movie in 3D leaves with the biggest headache. I have no issues gaming in eyefinity/surround (or on one monitor). My brother gets a headache watching or playing ANY FPS title. I guess it can be different for all people.

Regarding bezel, in my short time with triple monitors, I have found that getting monitors with a very slim bezel has made this "problem" non existent for me. That and the fact that I am on 27's, my head is always looking at the center screen, and the sides are merely just adding more peripheral vision. I can imagine on a 24" or smaller setup, bezels would be more of an issue.
 
I got nauseous when I switched from my 19" 1440x900 monitor to my 28" 1920x1200 monitor. I could only play for 30-40 minutes and would get sick to my stomach.

After about 5-8 sessions, it got better and now it doesn't bother me at all.
