Hi all,

I'm having trouble with all 3 displays working at once on my xfx 7970. It has one DVI, one HDMI, and 2x Mini Display ports. I can get two but when i try and enabled the 3rd I get "The display setting could not be saved. Please try a different combination of display settings."

Im using the hdmi to dvi adapter that came with my card on one monitor, hdmi with no adapter on the second, and PNY A-DM-HD-W01 on the 3rd.

I've been reading about active adapters vs. passive. Is this adapter the reason why only 2 monitors will work and not three?

Do I need to buy one of these? StarTech MDP2HDS
