Please don't kill me if this is already well documented.

Hey, I was looking at adding 2 smaller monitors to my 24'' monitor as I have no need for 3 24'' monitors on my desk (plus they wouldn't fit)

Can the width size be the same? I was considering 2x (214t) which can be used in 1600x1200.

Is 5120x1200 possible?

All 3 monitors must have the same resolution? I thought no. I know for a fact that one of the monitor must be doing displayport.

either a passive vga displayport or active dvi displayport adapter will work.

I read people have problem with displayport adapter. For VGA it can be passive? I didnt know.

There's a chance that the passive adapter wont work. I would suggest findig a monitor with native display port. Check out the Dell Outlet store. Also in order for bezel management to work, the bezel width has to be the same. And if you get two smaller monitors and flip them vertically, you just have to make sure that it will have the same height resolution. For example: 1680 x 1050. When flipped the other monitor would need 1050 x ( whatever ).

Hope that helps!
