Eyefinity and Windows 7

On Windows 7, if you have Eyefinity, do the keyboard shortcuts of Windows Key+Left and Windows Key+Right move the window to the side monitors or exactly half the total screen space?

Depends on if you're running the three screens in Extended Desktop mode or Spanned mode.

In Extended Desktop mode, Windows is aware of three separate monitors. This allows window management to work as expected, where windows can be maximized to individual monitors, and Aero Snap works within individual monitor boundaries.
In Spanned mode, Windows only sees one very wide monitor. If you maximize a window, it will cover all three screens, and attempting to use Aero Snap will cause a window to fill exactly half of the display group (rather than half of the monitor it's on).

You can easily make a profile to switch between these two modes. Extended Desktop for working, Spanned for playing.
 
I have 6 monitors and use the Windows + arrow key buttons all the time; as Unknown-One put it, they behave exactly as expected so long as you aren't using a spanned setting (like Eyefinity).
 
Its rather annoying to make. First, you set up the monitors in extended mode (turn off Eyefinity). Then you save that as a profile (top right "Options"->Profiles->Profile Manager). Then, set Eyefinity back up and then save that profile. You can then assign shortcuts to them. I have a keyboard shortcut to switch between the two modes.

Or at least that is how I set it up. ATI really should add an easier way to set up a shortcut to toggle Eyefinity.

how do i set the eyefinity option up? what do i choose?
