If accurate, the prices haven't changed much from IB. I'm eyeing the i5-4570S.

Eh, it's what I expected. Prices will remain unchanged until Intel releases 6 core parts on the mainstream, and that will take until the next die shrink (minimum).

I think what pisses me off the most about Intel keeping prices, core counts and clock speeds stagnant is this: unless you pay for a Core i3 or faster, you don't get ANY of the major improvements! This means you lose out on AVX2!

Hmmm increased TDP??.. As far i know haswell have even lower TDP than ivy... About on the topic.. Same history with intel.. Keep the same prices or similar prices and drop the old gen.. (Thats good for who still do not have any sandy/ivy...)

Yeah good for those who still don't have any Sandy/Ivy Bridge and wants to save some money, but those same people are also eying down Haswell too.

I just bought a 3770K and tomorrow I'm going to be returning it and waiting out for Haswell. The heat issue on the 3770K just rubs me the wrong way.

Tocks aren't about lowering TDP in general, they're about increasing performance. Also, Haswell has some VRM components integrated on the die itself.
