Extremely long load times Help?!

So I build a new PC, specs below, and everything's smooth except i'm experiencing VERY very long load times in some games. Once they're up and running everything is fine but the load time are beyond reasonable, but it's not in all games. Doom 3 and Farcry are the big culprits. Doom 3 will sit on 'initializing menus' for about 10 minutes, Farcy, from when I hit the icon to when I can start a game is about 10 minutes, and about 8 to load in the inial level. I'm defragging the hard drive but I don't that's going to solve. I'm wondering is the SATA setup or drivers are funky, but windows and other games load fine.

Anyone got suggestions or have been there before? I could use some ideas to start troublshooting it.

Everythings pretty up to date I was very thorough.
