Extreme help needed! Mozilla problem

after i restarted my computer and laoded up my mozilla it says it has been updated. I go to my bookmarks and bam, everything is erased! What the hell happened! Is there a way i can get them back.

Yeah. Uninstall Firefox2. Then make sure firefox.exe is not running. Then install again.

i nevere installed firefox2.

But i found my backup and jsut imported it.
