I am in the planning stages of creating a gaming system that will involve four 285 GPUS with a core i7 cpu o.c.'ed to 4.0 ghz. My question is whether two rads one 280 RAD and one 420 RAD is sufficient for cooling the four 285's , i am also keeping in mind the future gt300 soon to be released. I wanna keep these cards cool and also overclock them as well.

Wow. You are gonna need a lot of rad-age. If you are looking to keep your cards cool enough to OC, you would probably need more than a 120.4 rad.
 
question is though is it enough to use a 140.2 and a 140.3 rad to keep that system cool? or should i go with a 120.3 and a 140.3 what ya think?
 
It would depend on the fans you use.

Check skinneelabs (especially for Martin's Liquid Lab mirror at the bottom of the links, and his Radiator Estimator Spreadsheet) for radiator reviews.
