Hi, I recently purchased a pair of gskill sniper ram for $95 from extrafuzzyllama from this thread.

It's a little low but since it was kinda recent I said ok and sent him payment on January 10, 2014. It is now almost two weeks later and still have not received anything. At first I asked for a tracking number and he ignored the pm. I looked at paypal and it showed a tracking number of 9400109699937237102832. I checked it and it said pre-shipment as in he hasn't dropped it off yet so I waited a couple days and still the same thing.

I contacted him again and this time told him that I would HAVE to file a dispute by the end of the day the next day as I haven't got any proof it has shipped. He replied stating he didn't print out the label in time so he had to get a new one which is 420773409405503699300208695816. This one says the same thing of pre-shipment.

I don't think I'm jumping the gun here and I try to be patient when I buy stuff as I don't know the other parties situation but usually they'll tell me what happened or something and this has been almost two weeks now. Also, giving me a different tracking number felt shady as hell to me but idk. When it was 10 days I told him I opened a dispute and he called me impatient and hasn't responded to my last pm about why it shows pre-shipment.

His for sale thread had multiple items so, please, if you purchased something from him and received it, let me know. Or if you have the same situation going on.

Damnit all I was hoping to hold off on making my own thread. Looks like he is either very lazy or trying to scam people.

I bought the GTX 670 from the same thread. He sent me a tracking number the day after I paid. He said he dropped off the card at USPS but it shows pre shipment ever since. It also shows usps first class which has a weight limit of 13 oz which no GPU weighs. I am going to open a paypal dispute and see if that lights a fire under his ass.

I have PM'd him about my concerns and he has been on since then with no reply. Hell the only reason I bought from him is because I saw that his heatware were both from the same sale thread and he delivered both times.
 
Waiting 10 days is extremely patient, in my opinion. And yes, you're right, getting 2 different tracking #'s definitely seems odd. I would wait to call him a scammer just yet. He could just be a bad seller with bad habits and you still end up getting your item. I'd say let the mods get involved and see if they can get this person to contact you, and maybe he can try to explain himself.

But honestly, if I waited 10 days and the item hadn't been shipped yet, and you call me impatient? That would piss me right the fuck off... You don't take someone's money and then have the gall to call them impatient after you didn't do what you told them you'd do 10 days ago. That's bullshit.

Ok, that is pretty shady. First Class to ship a GPU? Either he sent you the wrong tracking # or he is scamming. His FS thread says he sold all 5 items, and with 5 different tracking # slips, I could believe he mixed up your tracking # for the tracking # for the GSKILL RAM, but the OP of this thread bought the GSKILL RAM, and neither of his tracking #'s match the one you posted....

Really starting to sound shady....

lol, ya when I read that I had a little wtf moment but I chilled and responded nicely. Since this seems to have happened to voklskier4452 it's starting to look bad...
 
He has been on multiple times since I PM'd him about my concerns on the shipping label. He has also been on since I PM'd him to notify him of the paypal dispute and of this thread. He was even in a PM session according to his user page. He has not responded. If paypal won't refund me I will get my bank to take care of it.
 
^^I'm hoping that paypal gets mine back as I already have a claim in my bank for 230$ from ocn where this dude scammed 4 people. Scammers everywhere nowadays -_-
 
I sent him a PM and got this response

apologizes. I had overnight shifts at work but items were dropped off at post office tracking should be updated by end of day I hope. if tracking does not update I will refund the money. sorry again.

so lets give him the benefit of the doubt and wait and see what happens in the next 24-36 hours.

I am perfectly willing to accept that others have things that come up because lord knows I have had to delay shipping before. My concern about first class postage still stands and has gotten no response.

My question is how could someone be so busy that they can't even send a package within a 10 day time frame? If you are that busy, at least let the buyer know first or don't accept any payment.

Well, the seller has ignored yet another one of my PMs asking for clarification on whether or not the item has been shipped. This is now the third message he has ignored. The tracking still shows Pre-Shipment as do both of the bogus numbers sent to the OP. I will let paypal try to return my money but I think this guy should be banned. He has given no response here and no response to me. He has been on the forum multiple times since this thread was started.

Helps but isn't fool proof either. I already got burned on ocn from a guy who had good feedback. Apparently he built feedback by selling cheap things then slams expensive stuff and rips people off. He scammed 4-5 people thinking we were buying an i7 4770k from a legit seller. >:O

EDIT: oh snap, my tracking number shows it was dropped off. o_O keeping my fingers crossed and see if it gets delivered.

Definitely glad to hear it. It's a shame he wasn't able to atleast post a blurb in this thread stating such, or atleast providing updates. But hopefully all's well that ends well
 
He gave me new tracking with usps priority instead of first class. It is supposed to be delivered Monday so we will see. Why anyone would not reply to pms for a week I don't know. He has been on the forum a bunch of times and just left us hanging.
 
Obviously he didn't mail the stuff off to begin with then. Hopefully you guys leave the proper feedback on this guy for his heatware. It honestly shouldn't take a mod to pm someone to make them finish their part of the deal here. But glad you got a working tracking number now.

Proper feedback, in this case, being negative (at least in my opinion). I know it's scary to leave negative feedback because you could get negative feedback as well, but you're not doing anyone any favors by leaving positive feedback for this fiasco.

That is assuming, that either one of you guys get your items. I'm hoping you do, of course, but you'll have to wait and see.
 
This is what is now making it so hard to count on heatware. Most do not want the other party to return the negative feedback. So they will just leave a positive and call it a day. Then the next buyer gets slammed and wonders why.

I actually wished heatware would change up the feedback system now. As people selling game codes and getting feedback off of it. What I mean is they will have 100 feedback off of nothing but game codes. Never having to mail anything just pm codes. Perhaps a icon beside the games or maybe even a small chart at the top by there name on what it was sold, etc.

It'd be nice if heatware separated the rating into "Heat as a Buyer" and "Heat as a Seller".

Well, my gurl jus sent me a pic of the package and indeed I received the RAM i bought. I just have to run a memtest on it when I get home but looks like my transaction is finally finished.

I hope everyone else gets their parts. I don't know the seller's situation and all this could of easily been avoided by just informing the buyers. :/ Anyways, I'm good it seems and will probably be leaving neutral feedback as I did get the item and wasnt in a big hurry to get it. Jus like to be informed.
 
Got my card and lightly tested it tonight. Not sure why the seller needed to disappear like that but at least I got the items in the long run.
 
I would have asked him to ship first and you would pay upon receiving the item.
 
It looks like everyone got their items..so that bring this to a close....
