External wire and cable management?

What do you guys use for management for the cables connecting your monitors, printers, extern drives, USB-devices, etc. to your systems, and for connecting all your systems and network printers to a hub?

Right now, the space next to and behind my desk is a complete rats nest of cables.:( I'm about to upgrade my system and this seems like a great opportunity to clean up all those cables.

I know that tie wraps would work, but I'm looking for something reusable. For me, it would be OK to spend a few bucks to get good results.

I'm just thinking out loud that this thread could eventually become a stickie.:D
