external/USB soundcards?

[Bugster]

Does anyone have any good experience with a good external soundcard? I need better music quality on my work computer (its a dell optiplex gx620). I'll be using headphones only (sony mdr-v6). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Check out the EMU 0202 USB.
It actually does a pretty good job of driving most headphones.

I have EMU 0404 USB and it is good with my HD595's. Quite a few people over at Headfi are buying the EMU 0404 USB for headphone use. M-Audio has the Transit if you want something a bit cheaper.
