External supply recommendations?

Hi. I have an LTO2 tape drive in an external SCSI enclosure. The enclosure PSU died and I cannot find a replacement. I was thinking if I just had a PSU that didn't require a mobo to turn it on, I'd be fine. Does anyone know of one that would work to turn itself on just via a rocker on the unit itself?

I have a device that plugs into the 24 pin connector which allows me to turn them on, but after 10 minutes it gets pretty hot so I wouldn't feel comfortable using it to power a PSU for the length of time it takes to do backup/restore operations.

Old AT PSU's just required a rocker switch. I just did some cleaning and recycled 5 or I would have sent you one!

You could also just use the old paperclip trick to power on an ATX PSU!

What does the device need for power, amperage wise?

If it's ~2A or less than one of the numerous molex power bricks would work a treat. (think laptop style PSU only it has a molex plug on one end)
