hey guys,

i need to find an external hd enclosure that's aluminum, sexy, sata to usb2 (firewire would also be nice, but not necessary), and can support a 400gb sata seagate (don't think that will be a problem with any sata enclosure)

do you have any recommendations, i've looked all the normal places

i did see one before that resembled a mac g5 and i loved that one, but i can't find it, nor do i know if it supports sata

also, are any powered by usb, or will all of them require power plugs? i don't know as i've never had the need for one.

TIA

Newegg has tons of them...
You're only going to get bus-powered ones if you go down to 2.5". All 2.5" need dedicated power.

when i search newegg for sata internal and usb external, i only get 2 results and they are both out of stock

edit: also note that the two that come up are ugly and the second one has some bad reviews
