I have been having a problem for a few months now. I have a external hard drive i built(WD with Antec enclosure) When i turn off the external HD via the on/off switch it will not be detected in Windows when i turn it back on. It will only be recognized when i reboot the PC?
Are there any settings that prevent it from showing up??? I remember it worked the first few months i had it. I have done a couple Windows reinstalls(unrelated) and it still does not work.
