As you can see in my signature, I have a Razer Blade w/a 970M 6GB. For the games that I play, this works rather well. However for FFXIV I'm thinking it would be nice to turn all the eye candy up. My external monitor is a Dell U3415W (QHD 3440 x 1440 at 60 Hz) and I'm thinking a GTX 1070 would be a perfect card that for me that would last several years (I play MMOs like FFXIV, WoW, GW2, etc.).

So my question is, is there a better option at the price point of the Razer Core V2 ($500)? Or is there a cheaper option that would be just as good?
