So I'm trying to figure out a way to have a rocker switch placed or installed on my desk to turn my monitors and my speaker on and off. I do not want it to turn off my computer.Yes I know it is lazy but I still want to see if it can be done, especially if I can find a switch that looks like a missile ignition switch or a rocker with an LED.

I'm fairly certain I can just use a second power strip for these devices but I really don't want to have to reach under my desk to switch it on and off. I also don't want to have an ugly arse power strip on my desk. The majority of my externals are located upside down under my desk, strapped to some pegboard and I'd like it to remain that way.

Does anyone have any info or advice on how to get this done?

Thanks!

Well I was actually looking for a way to use a rocker switch to turn a surge suppressor on and off. What I would like to do is drill a 3/4 -1" hole in my Jerker and set a rocker flush to the desktop on one of the sides. Keep in mind, my lazy ass does not want to hunt for a switch underneath my desk or extend my fingertips to some ugly metal box on my desk. :p
