External enclosure outside in cold

Hey guys,

I ordered a 2 bay external enclosure online. Unfortunately it was sitting outside in very cold temperatures for about 9 hours before I realized that it was delivered :(. It was 14 degrees outside when I brought it indoors at night. Do you think the cold may have damaged the external enclosure? Should I return it?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Absolutely not.

If cold harmed hardware you would see heated trucks delivering hardware. That would be a drag.

define: "14 degrees"
If it was 14 "degrees" kelvin outside i'd be very concerned.

having said that, most electronics are good down to the decent negative range as long as you let them warm up to room temperature before using them.

Okay, the hardware itself should be fine.

Just bring it inside and allow it to warm up to room temperature before using it. Just in case there's some sort of issue with sudden thermal variance.
