I have 2 external drives here that I want to get the hard drives out of the problem is the molex connector, each is stuck in the drives. Now as simple as this may sound I have been pulling for ~30min now and have used both plyers and a flat head screw driver. Is there something i'm missing here?

Nope, molex is tricky to get out sometimes. Try wiggling it from left to right rather than up and down:

Well the thing is these are not standard molex, they shift the power wires at a 90 degree angle. Right now I have my harddrive + the power cable (it can detach from the extenrnal drive) in the freezer in hopes that it will shrink enough to be removed. It is sheilded from moiture via plastic bag and plastic container.

Edit: A few hours in the freezer got it out :)
