I have two 36.1 GB SCSI 15,000 RPM drives. Access time faster than any present SATA :p

Well, since I run vista and a lot of programs, I only have 8 GB left on C:... Im thinking of extending the partition to my other SCSI drive, they are on channel 0 and 1... Is this a good move? Will they be slower, less reliable?

So this would end up being basically a JBOD (just a bunch of disks) array? i.e. Spanning?

I really cannot say. I don't think it'd be that big of a performance hit, but I've never done this before. Even with a slight performance hit, as you mentioned the drives are soooo damned fast to begin with, might not be an issue.

Of course, wait for the obligatory "OMFG you'll lose all of your data because you're doubling your MTBF risks!!!!!1!!111!!1" posts
