I have an external HD that contains 576 Gigs of data and 355 Gigs of free space. It is NTFS and has been created under Windows XP. It's a 1 Tera WD MyBook.
Under XP, no problem, but under Windows 7 (same computer but different partition) the external drive appears in "My Computer" but when i tried to access it it says F:\ is not accessible.
When i click to see the properties of the drive in "My computer", it says 0 bytes. and the graphic is all blue like if it was full.
BUT - When i choose Properties in Windows 7 "Computer Management", it correctly shows the amount of data for te drive and the free space.....Strange, allright in one place, not correct in the other.
By the way, it's the same thing whther i use the eSata or Firewire connection.
Any idea ?
Thank you !
