explorer hates me ?!

oh'k long time no post but i have my first problem with my lovely newish machine,

the problem is that, after downloading an .avi file ( whoa not p0rn! but of a personal hero of mine.) i went into the file to only find explorer having to close :S ok so it gets worse...

my mate brings round his external hdd and gives me a movie and what not.. i then send that to my storage drive and make a sub folder for it, once changing its name and going to to that folder explorer has to close...

any ideas?

update then run a virus scan first to make sure it's not a virus problem

you can also go to control panel and under adminstrative tools > event viewer> system .. and see if any errors were generated to give you more insight as to what the problem is

oh'k, did scans got some bad cookies that needed deleting but nothing other than that, i am really stumped now :S

i wont go into to much about already having this codac because its all well and good now!
