Experiencing negative feedback on my computer subwoofer

Whenever the input to the woofer on the back of my speaker slightly moves (if I even move my chair and it makes a slight vibration) or if the input touches any metal the subwoofer recieves very loud negative feedback - which ultimately is driving me nuts. The sound is very loud bass from touching metal.

How would I go about fixing this problem? Is it bad wiring? Should I just get an entirely new speaker system?
 
Hmm you could try a ground loop isolater. Id head to the local radio shack. To me that sounds like what it is. Ground loops are inadvertant grounding. This might set you back 10 or 15 bucks. (im no audio jockey however)
 
it could be your system transmitting the horrid frequency. try grounding your case or make sure your sound card is seated properly or anything of the sort.
 
Hmm. Aren't those used for just regular standard humming? The problem I have is, when idle everything is fine.

If I get up and leave this room the vibration will cause the subwoofer to very loudly produce heavy bass, because the wiring on the back of the right speaker with the 'To Woofer' connection ever so slightly touching the metal or has moved ever so slightly.

Will a ground loop isolator fix this?

It sounds like the connection is touching your case, your case is grounded (or at least should be :p) and poof. Try the gli is my advice.
 
Negative feedback? Is that like the sub is telling you your feet smell or something?

See if your wires are subject to any intereference, or try wiggling the output to the speakers from the sound card.
