Doing a little Christmas shopping for myself, and trying to quiet my PC in stages, while still providing good cooling. I've read several reviews on the Swiftech MCX64-V for both good cooling and low noise, and am wondering if anyone owns this beast. I've looked at the Thermalright XP-90 as well, and like Thermalright, but my normal retailer has none in stock, and the included fan specs of the MCX64-V look good too.

Can anyone who owns this tell me their experiences with installing it and how well it has worked for them, as well as volume levels with the stock fan? Thanks.

I own a MCX6400V, great HSF.

I use mine in conjunction with a 92mm Vornado (on a fanbus). My 3200+ (210x11) idles at 32ºC and hits 37ºC max (sans IHS) at 70ºF ambient apt temp.
