I'm pondering this system and wondering what graphics card I could run in it actually.. Wondering if anyone has first hand experience with this? I read the review on Tom's Hardware and they mention somthing like "Cables prevent the use of a powerful video card" and that kinda has put a halt on ordering one.

Help please? :)

Here's the link on Newegg

And Tom's review..

I tried a ATI chipset MB, both Intel and AMD.

I've got a shuttle with a celeron 2.2 @ 3.3ghz. I've tried my 9800pro in it. and no problems. Dont know what these cables are you talk about to prevent killer vid card??

There is the same big bundle in mine. And runs over top of the vid card, But any card will work, hell they are using a MSI FX Nvidia card, that's a big power hungry card, So you shouldnt have any problems.

Somewhere a few days ago i saw a 320 watt upgrade PS for these. But my 200 watt in it does fine for that last 6 months.

Id skip the ATI chipset if I were you though. I havnt read toms review, Maybe ati is doing better now. But i would have to read more reviews than just toms to base my decision.

Thanks.

Finally decided on the 875 chipset shuttle version. I was a little leary about ATI also.. much appreciated.

Update:

Couldn't be happier. I'm very glad I went with the 875 chipset instead of the ATI since it was more of a "sure" thing.

Shuttle SB75G2 is awesome. Tight area to work on with big hands but you were right, 9700pro fits in like a charm :)

Thanks.

P.S. I can practically turn my furnice off now, this thing kicks out some serious heat lol :) Holy smokes. Guess its doing it's job.
