I completely new to this and I need some help. I did a few searchs and I found vivo and hdtv to be popular. Not real sure the purpose of vivo and what is necessary for hdtv cards.

Basically, I want to watch tv on my computer and get episodes while I'm not at my computer.

If someone could suggest what I would need I would appreciate it.

Would a stand alone Dvico pci card be a really good choice?

I want very good quality here.
