Experience with legit keyloggers?

First off, I know this is a touchy subject around here, so I don't need any flamitory comments.

Quick story, I have a client who requested I run a keylogger on one of their machines. I didn't commit to it, but told them I'd look into it. This is rather touchey enough for me. But if I decide to use one, I need to use one that I'd trust wouldn't put any backdoor crap on the computer.

I did download the trial of All-In-One Keylogger and found no rootkits, and zone alarm hasn't shown any activity. So it looks like a good candidate.

My question is if anyone has had experience with any keyloggers, and know of any they trust.
