I'm planning on buying a 210V 22" from them (specs here: http://www.pp.co.nz/products.php?pp_id=FP00045) since it has decent specs, and comes at a good price and I think it looks great.

I've just never had any experience with AOC as a brand at all, so I would appreciate your help.

I should add that I'm planning on hooking my 360 up to it as well as my PC.

Thanks

The first monitor i ever bought was a 17" AOC CRT, and it was also the worst monitor i ever bought. :p

I hope your experience is better.

Well that isn't too reassuring. If the consensus is that they're that bad, I might just take the hit to the wallet and get one of the Samsungs.

Well AOC is not a very big or well known company. I'm actually suprised to hear they're still in business. The only places I've seen their monitors for sale is at small computer shops, and they've always had the cheapest price tags. I can't speak for any of their other monitors, maybe the one I had was a bad apple, but in my experience if its cheap it probably isn't good.
