Hey fellas, I'm planning a large wifi deployment and I'm still on the fence on wether I'll be using Unifi's or Airport Expresses. I'm partial to the AE because of the 5Ghz band but I'm not very confident in their ability to seamlessly transition between themselves - whereas the Unifi's do quite well in that regard.

Does anyone shed some light on this issue? I'll be installing 2 AP's on opposite ends of each floor for a total of 6 AP's. (Aesthetic/Infrastructure reasons).

Thanks!

Given the two choices, Unifi Pros hands down. 2.4 and 5.8 dual radios.

I'd never personally consider an Airport outside of a home environment and even then...

We had a lot of issues with a 4 access point airport deployment, we replaced them with unifi's and never looked back. just the management alone is a nice feature.

Just to clarify, were these units the newest models? MC414AM/A
