Expected Sequential I/O on raid10

Should a raid10 sequential write be roughly the IO of 4 * 1 drive?

I am getting sequential IO of 130-140M/second sustained under freebsd on an lsi controller with a raid10 of 7 x 400G seagates + 1 x 500G wd.

Yes, hypothetically. I assume you're using the RAID functionality of the LSI card rather than in software? What does it do when you use the other option? What board is it on, which slot, and what bus?

Depends on the number of drives. It should be around N/2, where N is the number of drives.
