Exhaust heat outside?

Heat from computer is making my office too hot. I've tried a portable AC unit, and it works, but it's loud and takes up a lot of space. Just seems to make more sense to just vent the hot case air outside. I have a window near the computer that I can use, but I'm concerned about moisure coming in from outside. Has anyone done something like this? Was it effective in reducing heat in the room, and how did you control outside moisture? I plan to do 7970 tri-fire, so gotta do something about all this heat!

Sure you can duct to your case, but it isn't exactly professional looking, and only works with air cooling as long as it is colder outside than inside your office.

Home office, should have been more specific. :)

Open to ideas, need to get this heat out... 144sq ft and this computer makes it uncomfortable, quick...

You could try The [H] way, geothermal watercooling with a plate heat exchanger between loops. I.e. an in-groung radiator under your lawn. Note this requires destroying your lawn to lay down tubing. But it is frigging cool.

Anything you do, amigo, short of something like that will not solve you problem. The laws of thermodynamics mean that no matter what you do-your computer still generates the same amount of heat to be sinked. Anything short of ducting cold air in or running waterloops outside of your office will still cause said heat to end up warming your office.

I have always wanted to put in a duct like the dryer to get rid of all the heat since I run 3 computers sometimes.
You should be able to duct it with a inline fan(part of the duct work) sucking the air out of the rack/cases and into the attic.
I just need an enclosed system case for the comps.

Ideally I would build out the closet, run an AC line coming in and exhasut out. But not in this current house. Someday...
