So, I set up Exchange on my domain and I'm having an issue where users log into their profiles, all the information is set up for them when they open out look as far as user account information, after initial set up it asks for a username and password (i.e. domain\username then password) Is there anyway to not let this happen?

I'm not a pro (yet), but this comes to mind:

Typically if this is working, when the user launches Outlook for the first time no authentication is required. It should pickup your domain\user info.

Just a thought.

Could be this from this link:

Hi Fazal,

That link describes the process for changing URL values in relation to the CAS certificate. If you followed that process and now have a situation where the client is repeatedly asked for credentials I suggest that your internalurl value is not listed as a common name on your exchange certificate. If your internalurl value is "server.domain.com...." then "server.domain.com" needs to be listed on your exchange certificate.

You can get the internalurl by...

Get-ClientAccessServer casserver1 | fl *InternalUri*

Kind Regards

Anyways it could be a number of different things though

- Exchange Tech/Admin for major food company.

What version of Exchange?
Assuming that these workstations are logging into the domain properly?
Exchange 2007 had a few issues..well...lol...a lot of issues. 2 common ones were
*Exchange System Attendent service fails to start after a reboot...causing this symptom when end users open Outlook
*There was a security rollup fix after one of the later service packs which also addressed this symptom of Outlook asking for a password all the time. if you have Exchange 2007..make sure it has the latest service pack and that rollup fix.
