I have a windows 2000 Server Domain Controller, before i worked here someone had Exchange 2003 Installed on it. Then removed it, and had it installed on a separate Computer on the network. This is no longer the case as our email is hosted externally.
In the event Log i see about 10 licensing errors per day for Exchange 2003..
I dont use it, nor do i want it there.
Im skeptical about removing it until i checked with someone as google has let me down on this matter. In the licensing window there is a button for "Revoke"
What i want to achieve is to have it not there at all, so im hoping the revoke button would simply remove it, and make my event log happy again, but i dont want to jeopardize the server by doing something blindly.
Can someone please let me know if that will do what i want it to do.
Thanks
