excessively large log file

I have this log file that is eating my hard drive up. It is a trace.log file, it's located in my c:/windows/system32/wmi folder, i don't know what it does nor how to get rid of it any clues? When i reboot the space comes back but then gets eaten up again, so if it's on for two days i have no hard drive space on my c drive.
 
It was bootvis that was doing the traceing, i don't recall ever setting it up to do that. I have it on the computer is there anything specific i need to do in order for it to work properly?
