Well with Newegg price gouging these days, im looking for other online retailers that offer excellent prices and availability, what do yall like?
 
when i venture away from direct merchant it's mwave and directron, sometimes allstarshop.
 
I use Pricewatch to find the cheapest deal on what I'm looking for, and then i go to Reseller Ratings to see how good that website is.

If the online retailer has a rating of above an 8.0 with a good chunk of reviews, I'd say you have a safe bet.
 
i'll sacrifice $2.00-4.00 price difference is the service is stellar. i also use pricewatch but if i see a lower price (about $4.00 lower) on a not well known site i'll still order from newegg or mwave. the less servers you have given your cc number to the better also. if there is a place that is always around $2.00 to $5.00 within the lowest price on pricewatch then i think it's better to go with the better known places.
