Whats a good Excel for word converter that you guys might suggest for an end user who needs it for a client. The manual way will not suffice for this user:rolleyes:

Hey guys, while you're at it, I'm looking for a jpg to wav converter...

In all seriousness, Excel documents are designed to hold a completely different type of data than Word documents. I have no idea what you would want or expect a 'converter' to do with the data. Convert the data into a specific type of graph following certain rules? Convert the data into a table in the word document? Do something else completely different? Or a combination of the above?

The Office Suite has both good macro support and some powerful scripting capabilities that can be used to help automate almost any task, but without any idea of what you actually want to automate, I can't really help you any further. If you're interested in macros or scripting for Office, a quick Internet search on the topics will result in a plethora of information.

Ah thanks for the reply,

To be honest, I’m not completely sure what the hell this end user wants.

She calls the help desk every month with an "urgent" issue this time around its finding a document converter that she requires for a client that the company "can't do without" lol

She is an idiot. We don't have a licensed or recommend software so I just wanted to see what is out there that people know about.

Sounds like a "tip of the iceberg" situation. Ask the user to explain what value a (perceived) "Excel to Word" converter has over copy-paste.

You could always try exporting the excel worksheet to a CSV file, rename the file extension to .txt, then copy/paste the text from Notepad/Wordpad to Word (or just open the file from Word directly).

Keep in mind that each "cell" is separated by commas.
