well.. i did some typing in the excel file whereby i accidentally do know what i press, and the file suddenl disappear in the excel screen.. i clicked X and it prompts me whether if i want to save it.. so i save it.. and i tried open it again.. and it shows blank screen..

i have tried open other excel file and it works.. only this excel file i am typing is unable to work..

any help? thanks..

you should not have saved it, you should have tried Edit ... Undo ...

but since you deleted all the contents of the spreadsheet and then saved it there is a very slim chance of getting the data back.

ok.. i found out in the help file that i actually press ctrl + W or ctrl + F4.. to close selected workbook window..

however, it stated that ctrl + f5 will restore the window size of the selected workbook.. i pressed and nothing happen..

hmm, i am not sure if the content is deleted.. but the size of the file is 100kb+.. so my guess is that the content is not deleted..

ok.. i have got it.. for those who are interested.. it actually hide my excel file.. to unhide it.. go to window -> unhide
