I recently ordered a kit from cooltechnica.com, consisting of a DD maze 4, D-Tek JR-120, some clamps, and a fill and bleed kit.
It turns out that right after I ordered, they ran out of Maze4 blocks w/ clear lucite tops.
After contacting them about how long the wait would be, stating that if it was too long, I would prefer to upgrade to the copper topped block. I received this email...
"Guess, it may take up to 2 weeks to get the Lucite topped Maze4 blocks.
If you would like us to upgrade the Maze4 to the copper topped version, I can have your order shipped first thing tomorrow.
regards,
Bruce"
Shortly thereafter, I also received this...
"Maze 4 Block is upgraded to the copper topped version at no additional charge to you. So you do not send the difference via paypal."
I know its not some great sum of money that they are handing out to me, but it is the little things that matter.
cooltechnica.com has my support in the future if I ever am in the market for any product they sell on their site.
